Heddbuzz Spent the last five years assembling a virtual army of heavy underground bands for a sonic assault on my senses. Tombstones is one of the commanders. Thanks for the download code to accompany the double vinyl.

Clint Beed These guys groove hard. Fantastic slabs of Heavy Psych Doom with a crushingly delicious tone. Closing track will melt your face off. Get this! Favorite track: Pyre of the Cloth.

Mortimer Potts The Norwegian trio knows exactly how to deal with heaviness, how to conjure it and carry it along, how to crush without choking, how to shake you down without burying you. (((http://wp.me/pZoqc-Kh))) Favorite track: Pyre of the Cloth.

Zhakathoom A sludgier, less doomy version of Tombstones this time around.

Regnārs Breikšs I relish the direction this band is heading. This album has all the things I value in doom/sludge. It is heavy, sluggish, groovy and has probably got the most saturated tones since ever.... man, the tones are just way beyond phenomenal! Been waiting to buy this release for a while now.

Put it on the best sound system you have, put it on as LOUD as you possibly can and you won't be disappointed. Also go and see them live!
Volume is the weapon!

about

Tombstones Grand Haven, Michigan

Tombstones has taken up on their Norse heritage, evolving from their previous stoner-influenced sound, now descending into the dark side of the gloom.
“Vargariis” finds the band leaning towards the bleak and desperate, assaulting the listener with their blackened, thunderous wall of fuzz and despair.
